Ayugi Ntambwe-Kalala

Ayugi is the Student Experiences Coordinator in the Public Health Program, where she oversees applied learning opportunities that prepare students to connect theory with practice. She is also a doctoral student whose work engages with some of today’s most pressing questions at the intersection of leadership, men’s health, women’s health, and global health. Her current research and interests reflect a deep concern for the leadership conundrum facing the world today and how health and education can contribute to more hopeful futures. Alongside her academic and professional pursuits, she is a wife of more than ten years and the mother of three children—including two sons—who keep her inspired and grounded. She loves hiking, exploring nature, and creating meaningful experiences with her family. Her passion for both family and scholarship informs her vision of building stronger communities and equipping rising leaders with the tools they need to thrive.
