 Alan Pruhs has served as Executive Director of the Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH) since 2010, following five years as Associate Director. Under his leadership, AUCH has strategically expanded Utah’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and launched innovative programs for medically underserved populations. As Utah’s federally recognized Primary Care Association, AUCH supports 14 FQHC organizations operating over 65 clinics that serve 175,000 patients annually. With more than 35 years in healthcare—including 22 in community health, four in pharmaceutical research as VP of Bio-Kinetics, and ten as a recreation therapist—Alan has earned numerous honors, including the 2018 Utah DWS Distinguished Partner Award, 2017 CHAMPS Outstanding Advocate Award, and 2009 NACHC Grassroots MVP Award.
